Wind turbines kill between 10,000 and 100,000 each year in the UK. That is awful!
But to put this into perspective, domestic cats in the UK kill about 55 million birds each year.
Interestingly, Norway has discovered that painting just one of the blades black can reduce bird deaths by 70 percent.
